My midwifery journey began in earnest, in 1991, with the birth of my first child, who was born at home with the loving assistance of two nurturing midwives. I began attending births as an apprentice in 1997 and opened my independent midwifery practice in 2005. I am a mother of three home born, home schooled children and am partnered with an amazing man for over 20 years.
The midwifery care I offer is a culmination of my education, my passion, the midwifery care I received, the birth of my own three children and the inspiration from the strong women in my family as well as the hundreds of women and babies I have had the honoring of serving.
