I began my midwifery training in 2001 and became a Certified Professional Midwife and Documented Midwife in the State of Texas in 2003. I have been practicing midwifery ever since. First, in South Central Kansas, and then in Western/Northwestern Kansas after getting married and moving to Bird City, Kansas in 2004. I am also a Registered Midwife in the state of Colorado. I love the privilege of helping families in the process of pregnancy and childbirth, and see it as a calling on my life. I will travel within a 2 hour radius of Bird City, Kansas in all directions, and also offer the option of birthing at my home in the country(We have a furnished guest house). My husband, Josh, and I reside in the country where I do appointments in our guest house/office/birth suite and enjoy being mom and teacher to  our eight children.
